Custom domains

On the homepage or Domains, type a name like `mybakery` or `bakeri.no`. We check the ending you typed plus common alternatives and show the price per year. Country endings ask for a company ID at checkout. Get it, sign in if you need to, and pay — we register it and point it at your site, usually within minutes.

Buying and connecting a domain is part of the Pro and Business plans, because that is where your site is published. The domain itself is paid for separately. If you pick a name first, checkout waits until you upgrade.

Open Publish, type the domain (`yourdomain.com` is enough — we connect `www`), pick where you manage DNS, then click Continue. The next screen shows the DNS records to add in that provider’s DNS settings. Click Publish when you’ve saved them. A Beeflower URL stays up while you connect yours.

We look up nameservers and suggest Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Google Domains / Squarespace, Namecheap, Domeneshop, and others. Bought at GoDaddy but using Cloudflare DNS? Pick Cloudflare — that is where the records live.

Copy each DNS record (Type, Name, Value) and paste it in your provider’s DNS settings. Use Copy on each field. We watch DNS and turn on HTTPS when the records appear.

The records live in DNS settings at your domain provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, one.com…), not in Beeflower. For a normal domain we show **two** DNS records: one for `www.yourdomain.com`, one for `yourdomain.com`. Copy Type, Name, and Value. That is the whole homework — both names then open your site.

Field names differ: Cloudflare uses Name / Target, GoDaddy uses Host / Points to. Leave Cloudflare’s orange cloud off so the certificate can issue. DNS is often a few minutes. Your site is already on a Beeflower link while you wait.
